RITA'S BEAUTY SHOP

Here is a shop for beauty that any one
would be happy to visit on a regular basis.
Whether it's a hair cut, perm, color or just a new style,
this is the place to meet and greet friends old and new.

My first Buttercup was a beauty shop.
There is a park bench and street lamp at the curb.
The house itself shows off black lace trim.
It is landscaped with white stone accents.
Most of the interior was built from scratch.
The hair dryer chairs were very simple to make.
They are simply two blocks of wood, covered in oilcloth,
then just glued together to form a chair.
The dryers are half of the old Legg's containers.
The little tables were the little plastic supports the kept the covers of boxes from sticking to your pizza.
I also concocted the sink, chairs and vanities, as well as brushes,
a hairdryer and plastic cover ups.
I cut women's faces from catalogs to have hairstyle pictures for the walls.
Upstairs was a lounge with bathroom and kitchen, as well as a couch.
A refrigerator magnet water cooler worked very well as an accessory.
(It's picked up the flash of the camera.)
