RITA'S CAMBRIDGE LANDSCAPE

Here are the final touches to my Cambridge.

Here is finished front of the house.
I used green felt for the lawn.
Below are 2 closer pictures so you can see a little more of the detail.

I outlined the Angel bed with small stones and filled it with crushed seashells.
I mix the shells with white glue and water and then just fill behind the stones.
The large trees are dried greenery.
I hot glued them to the base before filling the bed.
The tulip- like flowers are little red buds like stamens.
They already had the green leaf effect.
The shrubs in front of the porch are lichen.
The soil is sand, again mixed with white glue and water.
The tree is a bunch of dried stems with very tiny buds.
I hot glue them and then add the stones and seashells.

This is the left side of the house.
There is a tree on either side of the bay.
For a base for the flowers on the side I glue down
the fir branches from an artificial wreath.
The purple flowers are little silk blooms
and the yellow ones are dried flowers.
Again, the trees are clusters of dried flowers.
In the second picture there is a large chunk of coal.
This has become my trademark on all my homes.
It is a tribute to my Dad who was a coal miner in PA.

The right side of the house has a rose trellis and some wild flowers.
The roses are tiny silk roses and the wild flowers are
tiny dried flowers of pink, purple, yellow and blue.
Below is the house completely furnished and landscaped.
I hope you enjoyed your tour and picked up some points along the way!
